Two-tone cabinet painting is how Woodstock, Kennesaw, and Roswell kitchens get a new look without buying new boxes. Darker lowers, lighter uppers, same doors, same layout.
Why two-tone instead of all one color
A single light color can wash out a long run of cabinets. A single dark color can close the room in. Splitting the colors keeps the lowers durable where shoes and kids hit them, and keeps the uppers bright. It is still a paint job. It is not a refacing and it is not a replace.
What we paint
Doors, drawer fronts, and boxes that are sound. If a door is delaminating or the box is swollen, we say so and we do not paint over a fail. Hardware can stay or swap. We do not change the layout unless you ask.
Woodstock, Kennesaw, Roswell, and nearby
This is the work we do in Woodstock, Canton, Milton, Acworth, Kennesaw, Marietta, and Roswell. Stay-put kitchens before holiday cooking are the usual jobs. Paint cure time is the constraint, not the color choice.
How long you are out of the kitchen
Doors come off. You will have a working but limited kitchen for several days. We set that calendar before we start so you are not cooking Thanksgiving on a camping stove because someone picked a color on Wednesday.
Next step
Send a photo of the run and whether you want dark lowers or a darker island only. We will tell you if the doors will take paint or if replace is the honest call.
