Doors hung is not the cooking green light

We hang the doors when the last coat is dry enough to handle. That is not the same as ready for heavy holiday cooking.

The finish is still soft. Grease and steam mark it. A turkey, frying, and a pot that runs all day are heavy use. Weeknight dinner is not the test.

Several days, not a longer promise

A paint job is several days, not weeks. Drying and curing take 2–3 days. Avoid heavy use while the finish sets.

We will not invent a longer guarantee than that. We set the last coat several days before the cooking week, or we tell you to wait.

Start earlier if the holiday week is fixed

If you need the kitchen for a holiday week, start earlier. We set that on the visit, before a deposit. Do not book us for the Monday of the cooking week and expect a turkey on Thursday.

We will look at the doors, the grease, and your date. Then we tell you if we can finish in time.

You can still use the kitchen while we work

Doors come off. You can still use the sink and the boxes. You will cook around it. That is not a holiday meal in a finished kitchen. It is how you eat during the job.
